Austin has jumped from the 25th to the 50th percentile for both length and weight. He can lift his head very high when on his tummy. He is very strong and is trying hard to move around. He got his first vaccination shot today. He took it like a man...

Austin has been busy growing this last month. He is starting to laugh, and he follows objects with his whole head now. He even seems to pay attention to some toys! He received two shots at this appointment, and he was pretty bummed about it. But he was back to his old self by dinner!

Now that Austin is rolling over, the time has arrived to let him play on the floor. We held a "groundbreaking" ceremony to commemorate this great milestone. Austin has finally touched ground!
BABY DEDICATION

Austin was dedicated in church this Sunday. He looked handsome and charmed the audience...

got two shots today and was more upset about missing his nap than anything else.
Dr. Tull showed us where his first tooth appears to be coming in. He's growing into a big baby now!

Baby A has started making more talking sounds. He has a few consonants. He babbles out "dada," ""baba" and even some "yaya." He is always on the move and is actively trying to crawl. His two lower teeth are in, and he likes to use them on anything !

12/08/2008 Weight: 15 lbs Length: 26 1/2 inches Austin is looking healthy. He got one shot today, and he amazed the doctor with his talking. She said he looks ready for solids now, so a new adventure will begin soon!
BABY DEDICATION IN EL PASO

Austin was dedicated again in church this Sunday. We really wanted our families to be able to witness this, so we got to do it in EP during our Christmas trip. We even got a little tuxedo for the event!

Well, Austin has officially decided he wants to try out food. He leaned forward and took a chomp out of Mama's banana. Guess it's time to start a solid diet...

Shots only visit. During our brief encounter with the pediatrician, we learned that all of Austin's teething lately is because he is actually getting FOUR teeth. Poor kid. No wonder he can't sleep. And amazingly, neither can his parents. Neat trick!

Well, Austin is walking more than crawling now. It's definitely his preferred mode of transportation. He can give you a high five, blow a kiss, and raise his arms in victory. He's definitely communicating a lot more now!
